Kitten Care
A routine kitten vaccination series includes vaccinations at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age. The 16-week vaccines include a Rabies vaccination. Kittens are especially susceptible to the diseases listed below (under recommendations for adult cats), so vaccinations are vital to ensuring a healthy kitten.
Intestinal parasite treatment or “de-worming” at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age. Kittens should also be screened for other intestinal parasites and treated accordingly at these ages.
We recommend that all male and female cats not intended for planned breeding be spayed or neutered at 6 months of age.
Cat Care
Annual vaccinations include immunization against Rabies, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Chlamydia Psittaci, and Feline Leukemia.
Monthly flea prevention. We also offer yearly deworming with Profender for cats.
